Creating the character of each doll is a very personal and intuitive process. Inspiration comes from different sources: emotions, nature, and the fleeting moments that the world around us offers. It all begins with a feeling or mood that I want to convey. I think about facial expressions, body language, the details of clothing and accessories — all of this helps to reveal the inner world of the character. For me, each doll is like a living story: she has her own past, emotions, and experiences. This process is a combination of artistic decisions and empathy, an immersion into an imaginary world of femininity where each of my heroines lives. I believe that individuality and inner depth are what make a doll truly captivating.
My dolls are women. I am inspired by women — their natural strength, softness, and the inner magic that exists in each of us. In my work, I often explore themes of emotions, memories, and the hidden inner world. And it is the feminine inner universe that becomes the foundation of many of my ideas. Through it, I come to understand both myself and the world around me.
I work with various materials — flumo, porcelain, polymer clay, and polyurethane. Yet porcelain holds a special place in my heart: it gives the figure delicacy, refinement, and fragile beauty.
The personalities of my dolls emerge gradually. I begin with an idea, but in the process of creating them, they seem to come alive and show me who they want to be. It is an amazing feeling — to watch a living character emerge from raw material.
For me, harmony between all elements is important — the idea, the character, and the emotion. But if I had to choose the main one, it would certainly be emotion. It fills each doll with life, making her unique and leaving a trace in the heart.
